Shipping & Handling
At YYC SMOKE, we handle shipments Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. We strive to process and dispatch all orders placed before 2:00 PM EST on the same day. For items listed as "IN STOCK," we aim to ship them within 24-72 hours during the business week. For items on backorder, we will ship them as soon as they become available.
Shipping rates are calculated during the checkout process, and an estimated delivery date will be provided. For more precise delivery timing, please consult the tracking information provided once your tracking number becomes active.
Please be aware that shipping carriers do not operate on weekends or holidays.
Free Shipping in Canada for Orders Over C$75
We are pleased to offer free expedited shipping on all orders within Canada that total over C$75 (before tax and after discounts). However, we reserve the right to cancel any orders we consider unreasonable for free shipping (e.g., extremely heavy or oversized items). In such cases, we will offer you the option to pay for shipping.
If an order is not successfully delivered due to issues we attribute to you (such as an incomplete address or failure to pick up the package), we will issue a refund, but shipping fees from the initial shipment (even if it was free for you) and return shipping fees charged by the carrier will be deducted. Additionally, a minimum 5% credit card transaction fee and a $10 handling fee will apply. Alternatively, we can reship the order once you cover the return shipping fee and the cost of reshipping. Please note that we will not reship the order until it has been returned to us by the courier.
For urgent shipments, we offer Xpresspost and Priority options for an additional fee. Please note that once your parcel is shipped, we cannot refund the extra shipping fees.
Proof of Age Required
YYC SMOKE employs Canada Post's Proof of Age verification (18+, 19+, or 21+ depending on your province or territory) for all shipments, without exception. As we use this option for all deliveries, a signature will be required upon receipt. If you are not present when the delivery is attempted, the package will be left at your nearest post office. You will need to provide Proof of Age to sign and collect the package.
Since the onset of the pandemic, Canada Post no longer verifies IDs in person at your door. Instead, you will need to pick up your parcel from the nearest post office and complete the age verification process there.
Please note that any fees incurred from packages being returned to sender due to an inability to determine Proof of Age will not be refunded. We cannot waive this requirement, even if you have previously been verified. Only the individual listed in the "Shipping" fields may collect the package. Canada Post will not release the package to anyone else.
Please do not place an order if you are not of legal age in your province of residence.
Order Processing
We process all in-stock orders every day of the week, including Canadian holidays. If you receive a tracking number on a weekend or major holiday, it indicates that your order has been processed but will not be picked up by Canada Post until the next business day.
We may require additional processing time if there are any questions or concerns regarding your order. We make every effort to contact you via phone or email if necessary, so please ensure you provide current contact information during checkout.
Typically, in-stock orders placed before 2:00 PM EST will be shipped on the same day. Delivery times will vary based on the carrier.
For orders where the billing name and address differ from the shipping details, you must provide ID that matches the billing name and address upon request via email. Failure to provide the requested ID will result in the cancellation and refund of the order. Ensure that the date of birth is clearly visible when submitting ID for verification.
Carrier Restrictions
Please note that Canada Post does not operate on Saturdays, Sundays, or major Canadian holidays.
Tracking
Tracking numbers are generated when we create your shipping label, and an email containing the tracking number is sent to the email address you provided. If you do not receive a tracking number, please check your email’s "spam" folder.
You can also view tracking information directly by logging into "My Account." Track your package using Canada Post's website. It may take up to one business day for tracking information to be available.
Lost & Undelivered Packages
Please report any mis-delivered, stolen, or damaged packages within 90 days from the date they were shipped.
YYC SMOKE is not responsible for delays, mis-deliveries, or stolen packages. Once your order is scanned by Canada Post or any other delivery agents, it is under their care and control. Shipping is a service provided by Canada Post, so any issues with shipping must be addressed with them.
YYC SMOKE is not responsible for incorrect shipping information provided by the purchaser. Packages returned to us due to incorrect addresses will be refunded after deducting a minimum 5% credit card transaction fee, a $10 handling fee, the original shipping cost (even if it was free), and the return shipping fees. Alternatively, the package can be reshipped after you pay for the return shipping fee and the cost of reshipping. We will not reship the order until it has been returned to us by the courier.
